Malaysian oils generally hail from Kelantan, Pahang, Terengganu or from Borneo- Sabah etc. Very rarely do we come across oils from Kedah, the area bordering Thailand to the North and the Malacca Strait to the West. So what we have for you is indeed a treat, have a look at the grade of wood on the attached pictures, pre juicing and post. This is very high grade incense wood, we have gone all out on this and really pushed the distiller to create something special. A stainless distillation to keep the oil as tight and crisp as possible, this oil doesnt require a ‘trained nose’ or ‘Oudict’ to enjoy.
Opening with a perfect blend of the sweetest Cardamom and Cinnamon, this oil is definitely one of the prettiest oils we’ve had commissioned. The spices continue, star anise, nutmeg and splashes of tamarind all delicately unfold. As it dries the wild flower aspect picks up, sweet frangipani, wild orchids, angsana all framed within a “glassy” crystalline note. This oil has given us a lot of pleasure and we hope you do to.
